Hello from me...

I'm Karen Hirst and I started training in holistic therapies 21 years ago. As a stressed-out journalist on the brink of burnout, I was sent to have an Indian Head Massage for an alternative health magazine and the rest as they say is history! I couldn't believe how amazing my treatment was at helping with my daily tension headaches, and I knew then it was something I had to learn and to do for others.

I went on to gain VTCT Level 3 qualifications in Indian Head Massage (2003), Swedish Body Massage (2004), Aromatherapy (2005) and Reflexology (2005), as well as additional training in Usui Reiki 1 & 2 (2004), Hot Stone Massage, Advanced/Deep Tissue Massage, Facials and more recently Crystal Healing. 

I chose to specialise in holistic treatments because I'm fascinated by the mind, body, spirit connection, working with energy and treating people as a whole. I've seen some amazing results and I hope you will too.
